Confined Spaces

This (4) hour course is designed to help the worker understand the dangers of working in a confined space, and how to work safely utilizing OSHA regulations to protect confined space hazards. All companies are required to identify and label confined spaces, and restrict access. If work is required in a confined space access may be granted only with permit and monitoring equipment such as gas monitors, and or hole watch, both may be required.
Certificates of completion awarded upon completion of course.

The course covers-
• Confined space emergency procedures
• What the difference is between a confined space and a reclassified confined space
• How to identify hazards
• What personal protective equipment is required (PPE)
• Attended duties

Intended Audience: Workers who will performing work in or near a confined space and management in any company that would will be operating in a confined space as defined in OSHA Guideline 29 CFR 1910.146.
